Our Strongman fit is constructed for those that need more room thru the seat and thighs but with a pulled in waist. This will eliminate the need to buy a larger size for the seat and hips and ending up with a waistband that's too large. The key component to the Strongman cut is the contoured waistband versus a straight cut waistband which is a unique design feature to this fit.

Woven at 16.5oz with a slow, deliberate weave, this indigo selvage walks the line between raw strength and quiet refinement. What the Japanese call Shibui (渋い) which means subtle, understated beauty; refined simplicity. Not flashy, but deeply satisfying.
We think our new 16.5oz embodies these characteristics featuring a deep, dry indigo warp with a dusty natural weft. Just honest fabric with weight, texture, and integrity. Subtle on the surface, but built to break in with soul. Limited run

Details

  • Due to the heavy saturation of indigo on the warp yarns, this dye will rub off (crock). We advise rinsing your denim before wearing and after (multiple times if necessary) if this is a concern for you.
  • Indigo Warp x Natural Weft
  • Denim is Sanforized.
  • Red Orange top stitching for authentic denim aesthetic.
  • Sewn & chain stitched in all the right places on vintage Union Special, Reece & Singer machines.
  • A & E core spun poly thread for maximum strength & durability.
  • Embroidered star insignia on the right back pocket represents ‘Made in America’ status.
  • Button fly with double prong, donut style buttons. Old style pocket rivet burrs.
  • YKK Hardware.
  • Leather iD back patch. 
  • Leather back patches are cut & stamped in Los Angeles & waistband label is woven locally in Los Angeles.
  • Every aspect of the production is US made in Downtown Los Angeles from imported selvage denim.

All waistband measurements are "full waist measurements." For a full waist measure, take your layflat waist measurement and double it. All other measurements are layflat (not doubled). Please allow for a +/- 1/2" tolerance in waistband, top block, thigh, knee, and hem opening vs listed spec.
