Exchanges

  • All returns are for store credit, no refunds. 
  • SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. NO EXCHANGES, NO REFUNDS.
  • You have 30 days (from the time you receive it) to exchange your order.
  • To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • We’ve streamlined our exchange process with Loop Returns. You can now choose between a direct size exchange (same style, different size) or a store credit issued as a digital gift card.
  • Once your return is approved and scanned by the carrier, exchanges and store credit are processed within 1–3 business days. Store credit is sent to the email tied to your original order and can be used on anything in the shop.
  • Refunds are only issued in cases of damaged or incorrect items. All other returns are eligible for store credit or size exchange only. If a refund is granted outside these terms, a 30% restocking fee will be deducted from the total.
  • Because we produce our jeans in small batches, your requested exchange may not be available. If that happens, you can choose a different fabric or fit, or submit the exchange as a return for a gift card to use on any other item. Gift cards never expire.
  • You can also wait for a restock but there is no guarantee that we are able to source the exact same selvedge fabric quality again.
  • Once your garment has been received it will be inspected.
  • Once inspected and your garment has been deemed to have been worn and/or washed we will not accept your return and will mail your garment back to you. 
  • By ‘worn’ we mean that the garment has been worn for a period of time exceeding the initial try on and has evidence of whiskering and/or honeycomb patterns, stains and/or odor.
  • Any refused orders/return to sender orders will incur a 30% restocking fee.

Pre Orders

There is a strict no cancelation policy once a pre order has been placed. You are welcome to exchange for a different size once you have received your pre order. Because we produce our jeans in small lots there is a chance that we will not have your exchange choice available, if this is the case you will have to select a different fabric and/or fit. You can also wait for a restock but there is no guarantee that we are able to source the exact same selvedge fabric quality again.

Hemmed/Sale items/Gifts 


Jeans that have been hemmed or altered in any way cannot be exchanged. Sale items are final sale. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to them self to give to you later, we will send an exchange credit to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

Return Procedure

To initiate an exchange, please log onto bravestarselvage.com and select REQUEST AN EXCHANGE (or click this link) in the menu of the footer (bottom) of the front page. You will be asked to enter your order number and email address. Once you have initiated the exchange, please ship your item(s) back to the address as noted in the instructions.

Hem Service:

If you would like to send back your jeans for hem service please purchase the service prior to sending them back to us. Once you have paid for the service, print out the order confirmation, place it inside the package and mail them back to us at the below address. You will be responsible for the cost of mailing both ways. Lead time for the service is 7-10 working days excluding the transit time.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track-able shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please do not ask for "signature upon delivery" or we cannot guarantee that your jean will be received. 

Duties

For orders shipped outside of the U.S and Canada, you should consult the customs legislations of your country. We do not take responsibility for duty fees, brokerage fees, and shipment delays due to customs, if any
