This is heavyweight selvage with something to prove. Dark Gauntlet is cut from a 21.5oz right-hand twill with a darker, meaner indigo tone than our LHT version. Woven from long-staple cotton for serious strength without the break-in brutality. It wears tough but feels surprisingly supple from day one. Expect sharp, high-contrast fades across whiskers, combs, and stress points. Red selvage ID. Cut and sewn in Los Angeles.

  • 100% Cotton
  • Red Orange top stitching for authentic denim aesthetic
  • Sewn & chain stitched in all the right places on vintage Union Special, Reece & Singer machines.
  • A & E core spun poly thread for maximum strength & durability.
  • Embroidered star insignia on the right back pocket represents ‘Made in America’ status.
  • Button fly with double prong, donut style buttons. Old style pocket rivet burrs.
  • All hardware is made in Kentucky.
  • Thick vegetable dye leather iD back patch. 
  • Leather back patches are cut & stamped in Los Angeles & waistband label is woven locally in Los Angeles.
  • Every aspect of the production is US made in Downtown Los Angeles.

TRUE STRAIGHT MEASUREMENTS

All measurements are "full waist measurements." For a full waist measure, you would take your layflat measurements as shown on the waist measurements instructions above and double that number.  

Please allow for a +/- 1/2" tolerance in the waistband, top block, thigh, knee and hem opening vs listed spec.
