If there’s a jacket that punches above its weight in cold weather, it’s the Wax Sherpa. Built off the classic Type III silhouette, this version swaps denim for a 9oz British Millerain dry wax cotton shell, weather-resistant, breathable, and tough enough for daily wear.

Inside, it’s fully lined with high-pile sherpa fleece that traps heat without soaking up sweat. The sleeves are quilt-lined with nylon taffeta and poly fill, built to slide on easy and insulate like the body.

This is the hard-wearing, ready-for-anything layer. A modern take on a timeless workhorse.

      Fabric

      Cut from 9oz British Millerain dry waxed cotton, an updated formula that sheds wind and light rain without the wet hand feel of traditional wax. Lightweight, breathable, and built to break in, not break down.
      High-pile sherpa lining in the body for insulation. Sleeves are quilt-lined for mobility and layering. Snap front closure. Corduroy collar. Dual chest pockets, lower hand pockets, and an internal welt pocket for carry.

      • 9oz Waxed British Millerain Water Proof Cloth.
      • Deep pile Sherpa Fleece with large 'nap' texture. 
      • The overall effect is similar to real sheep’s wool, but sherpa lining is lighter weight, much less bulky, and faster-drying.
      • Black quilted, fully lined arms.
      • The arm shell is composed of nylon taffeta quilted to lightweight polyester for warmth.

        Cut and Sewn in the USA.
      • The collar is lined with the same sherpa lining as the interior. This feature is functional as the fast-drying sherpa lining won’t get sodden from snow or rain as quickly as a cotton collar.
      • Fully lined interior both body and arms
      • Shell (Sherpa fleece lined) / Arms (Quilted nylon lining)
      • Two exterior side pockets
      • Two exterior chest pockets w/ button flaps
      • Two interior pockets/one welted internal pocket and one patch pocket.
      • Embroidered star insignia on back yoke.
