Mojave Western Cut 14oz Golden Handshake Cone Mills White Oak Selvage Denim
$108.00
Mojave western cut is our newest fit inspired by the classic mid 50’s to mid 60’s silhouettes that became popular due to the widespread adoption of cowboy culture that permeated jeans wear during that particular era. The Mojave has a subtle knee to hem gradation that is just enough to accompany any boot without the concern of excess fabric. This is a classic American Western silhouette that has long been neglected but whose time has come once more.
Fit Notes:
The front rise is 11" on a size 31 and graded up from there. The thigh measures at a comfortable 12" and the knee is slightly pulled in and shaped to 8" and graduates out to 8.5" hem opening peaking at a 34" inseam. The inseam is at 36" total length but does not continue to grade out which respects the silhouette if any inseam adjustment is required or desired.
Fabric
A 100% cotton ring RHT (right hand twill) that weighs in at a solid 14oz. The indigo shade has a classic 'work wear' aesthetic that Cone pioneered and perfected over their 132 year history. The selvage iD is red which became known as 'red line' selvage and was synonymous with the 501® for decades even though the iconic 'red line' selvage wasn't actually introduced until 1927 - 12 years after the famous 'Golden Handshake' and was adopted by Cone specifically to differentiate one company's denim from another.
Note: Denim is sanforized and not shrink-to-fit®
