Die Hard Double Knee Straight Leg - 11oz Kaihara Selvage Denim Jean

Woven by Kaihara Mills in Japan, this 11oz lightweight selvage denim has a deep indigo face with a pronounced vertical slub running through the warp. The fabric shows strong natural streaking and grain, giving it that rain-like texture associated with vintage Japanese denim, but in a lighter, more wearable weight. It's also  generously starched so it has a structure more in common with heavier weights.

At 11oz, it offers the character of raw selvage without the punishment of a heavy break-in. The hand is crisp, breathable, and easy to wear from day one, making it ideal for warmer weather or year-round rotation. The vertical slub will become more pronounced with wear, creating high-contrast fades, sharp whiskers, and natural highs and lows across the fabric.

Finished with traditional redline selvage detailing and classic five-pocket construction, this is a lightweight denim with real texture, not a flat basic cloth.
