The Sawtooth is a distinctly American original. Its pointed pocket flaps and western yoke were born out of utility, built for movement on horseback and easy access in the saddle. This style came straight from the ranches and rodeo circuits of the early 20th century and earned its place in American workwear. No other country produced a shirt like this because no other place lived the lifestyle that demanded it. That spirit still runs through every piece we sew right here in the USA.

Fabric

Flannel woven in Japan is something special - they truly are masters of their craft. Just when you think you've seen great flannel along comes a quality that dials it up a notch or ten. On the face - a flannel pattern that keeps the shirt firmly in the timeless category. Upon closer inspection - thick slub yarns that add another layer of depth to the fabric setting this shirt apart from your generic flannel. Yarn dyed from long staple slub yarns and woven in Okayama, Japan.

  • Black Permex YKK Snaps.
  • Front chest pockets w/sawtooth style flaps.
  • Front and back western style yoke.
  • Long sleeves with snapped barrel cuffs.
  • Hanger loop.
  • Chain stitch on side seams, arm seams and shoulder seams.
  • Single and Double needle work on all other seams.
  • Scalloped bottom hem for shape.
  • Made in Los Angeles.
  • CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash in warm water with mild, non-chlorine detergent by hand or gentle cycle only. Low tumble or Hang dry.
