Our fully lined CPO style shirt draws from the well of both military and American western wear. Two front flap chest pockets and pleated sleeves reference a classic CPO shirt - mix it up with western style front and back yokes, shaped hem and black metal buttons from YKK and you have a new classic in the making. Add in two side hand warmer pockets, 4oz diamond quilted lining and it becomes a daily Fall wearer.

Fabric

Crafted from heavyweight wool milled in Bishu, Japan, home to over 300 years of wool-making tradition and some of the finest mills in the world. Bishu’s craftsmen blend old-world techniques with modern precision, producing fabrics prized for their strength, warmth, and rich hand.
The softer the water, the softer the wool, that’s a simple truth in textile making. Bishu benefits from the unusually soft, mineral-light water of the Kiso River, which runs clean and strong enough to supply the region’s wool mills with what they need to produce fabric with an exceptional hand.
The yarns are dyed using a traditional kase-hank method, locking in deep, even color before weaving for long-lasting wear, no matter how hard you run it.

WOOL CARE – HANDLE WITH RESPECT

This garment is made from 100% wool milled in Bishu, Japan. It’s built to last—but like any natural fiber, it needs the right care.

• Dry Clean Recommended

For deep cleans, take it to a trusted dry cleaner. It’ll hold its shape and last longer.

• Spot Clean as Needed

Wool resists dirt and odor. Use cold water and mild detergent to gently dab away stains. Don’t scrub or soak.

• Never Machine Wash

Agitation and heat will shrink or distort the fabric. Don’t risk it.

• Air It Out

Between wears, hang it outside or in a well-ventilated spot. Wool breathes and resets naturally.

• Store Smart

Keep it in a cool, dry place. Use cedar or wool-safe moth protectors if storing for the season.
