A rare one-off run of 14oz Kaihara selvage.
We scored this roll earlier this year, direct from Kaihara’s archives and held it for fall. It checks every box: long-staple cotton, dark rope-dye indigo, and a midweight profile that wears year-round.
The weft yarn is unscoured, which gives the surface a slightly textured, vintage character while keeping the overall tone deep and inky. You’ll also notice a soft, almost broken-in hand feel that comes from the raw cotton fibers. There's a slight hairiness to the face, due to the uncombed yarns which adds texture and a little soul.
This is small-batch selvage at its finest - no restocks, no reruns.

    The Ironside fit is a standard fit that is neither oversized or slim with a length that hits right below the jean waistband. The silhouette is straight on the body with armholes and sleeves designed for maximum mobility and comfort, featuring a total of six exterior/interior pockets incl. side welted, hand warmer pockets that offer style and functionality. Wear it over a white tee shirt or under a vintage leather jacket, its hard to go wrong with this iconic garment.

    HOW TO MEASURE YOUR JACKET

    CHEST: Measured Pit to Pit

    LENGTH: From the top of the shoulder where it meets the collar seam to the bottom of the waistband

    SLEEVE: From the top of the shoulder where it meets the sleeve cap to the bottom of the cuff

    SHOULDERS: Turn the jacket over (so you're not measuring over the front collar) and measure from the edge of the highest part of the shoulder seam to the opposite shoulder seam (the pic is a good representation of the shoulder points just turn the jacket over).
