When we decided to make our first denim jacket back in 2006, we knew how it should fit - snug but not tight & should sit on the hips without being too short. The result is a modern classic - functional & timeless. Wear it over a white tee shirt or under a vintage leather jacket or peacoat, its hard to go wrong with this iconic garment.

- slanted exterior chest pockets for functional, easier access.

Another stunner from the development lab of Cone Mills. These small lot, single run qualities were never adopted into the production line up and are extremely rare. We couldn't think of a Brave Star style more deserved of this quality than the Steadfast jacket. One of our most requested items as it has only made two appearances over the last two years's. The indigo color is quite intense with a dark, saturated warp yarn and very little grin thru from the weft. Indigo of this color depth is uncharacteristic of Cone's normal dye range and the shade is reminiscent of a pure plant indigo with a hint of a red cast. Construction is a dense 3x1 RHT ARS x ARS that will throw off multiple shade contrasts during the fade progression. Red selvage iD
On Oct 18th Cone Mills announced that after 112 years in business they would be officially ceasing all production and operations and permanently close the White Oak plant in North Carolina as of Dec 31st 2017. Cone is the oldest operating denim mill in the world and is the last to weave selvedge denim in the US.
Owning a pair of Cone Mills selvedge denim woven at the White Oak plant will not only be a badge of honor but a necessary addition to any serious or aspiring denim heads collection. Do not miss this opportunity to add this quality to your rotation while supplies last.
