CONE MILLS R.I.P 1905 - 2017

Cone Mills, after 112 years in business, officially ceased all production and operations and permanently close the White Oak plant in North Carolina on Dec 31st 2017. Cone was the oldest operating denim mill in the world and was the last to weave selvedge denim in the US.

Owning a pair of Cone Mills selvedge denim woven at the White Oak plant will not only be a badge of honor but a necessary addition to any serious or aspiring denim heads collection. Do not miss this opportunity to add this quality to your rotation while supplies last.

Fabric Notes:

As availability of Cone Mills selvage denim dwindles due to the shuttering of the White Oak plant over three years ago we're finding it increasingly difficult to find stock. Fortunately, we stock piled quite a large quantity over these past few years and are able to dip into our backstock and offer qualities that are increasingly rare to find. This quality is one of them. At a solid 15.75oz with a saturated green cast indigo and a tight slub yarn on the face, this selvage will age and fade like no other. That's the beauty of raw denim - no two qualities are ever the same. A blood red orange iD adds a fantastic pop of color.
