CONE MILLS R.I.P 1905 - 2017

On Oct 18th 2017, Cone Mills announced that after 112 years in business they would be officially ceasing all production and operations and permanently close the White Oak plant in North Carolina as of Dec 31st 2017. Cone is the oldest operating denim mill in the world and was the last to weave selvedge denim in the US.

Owning a pair of Cone Mills selvedge denim woven at the White Oak plant will not only be a badge of honor but a necessary addition to any serious or aspiring denim heads collection. Do not miss this opportunity to add this quality to your rotation while supplies last.

FABRIC PREVIEW

This is a small 12oz sample lot of the 15oz American Heritage that we offered for many years before we ran out of stock. All the attributes that made the 15oz quality legendary are represented in the 12oz version including a loose slubby weave & soft hand due to the long staple cotton which makes these jeans one of the most comfortable raw denims we've had the pleasure of breaking. The indigo color is quite intense with a dark, saturated warp yarn due to the black & green cast dye shade. The weft is an all natural white cotton. Construction is a 3x1 RHT that gives off multiple shade contrasts during the fade progression.

Limited to 100 pairs.
